Not Amazon · No support · No passwords asked — SmartHomeGenius is an independent publisher with no tie to Amazon.com, Inc. Written explanation only: no help desk, nobody advising, nothing mended, and no credential or payment ever requested. Alexa support itself lives at amazon.com.

The publisher. smarthomegenius.site is written and published independently by Vanshika. Amazon.com, Inc. owns no part of it, funds no part of it and has approved no part of it, and the same goes for every other maker, seller or brand owner whose equipment turns up on these pages. Amazon runs its own website, and support for Alexa belongs there.

The edges of it. Explanation in writing is all that gets made here, and the list of what does not exist is worth stating outright. No number has ever been published. Nobody sits and advises. Nothing gets reached into from elsewhere, no fault is traced, no login is put back, and no piece of hardware is repaired. Across the whole site there is not one field asking for a password, a card, or any detail belonging to you, and nowhere to log in even if there were.

Whoever holds the Alexa name holds it still, as with Echo and Echo Dot. They turn up on these pages because there is no other way to indicate which hardware is meant. Should a piece of your own equipment have actually failed, that is a matter for its maker or for the shop that sold it.

Disclaimer

The standing of this publication, the things it does not do, and where the edges sit.

Who publishes this

smarthomegenius.site is researched, written and published by Vanshika, working independently. Amazon.com, Inc. has no part in it whatever — owning nothing, sponsoring nothing, approving nothing — and nor does any other maker, seller, platform or brand owner whose products these pages describe. Amazon operates its own website; Alexa support lives there and not here.

Not a service of any kind

Explanation in writing is the sum total of what this place produces. Everything below is missing on purpose, and there exists no arrangement, contract or side channel through which any of it could be provided:

  • Anybody putting hands on a device, whether present or at a distance
  • A number to ring, a call arranged for later, or a button that dials
  • Somebody staffing a conversation, a ticket queue, or a desk of any kind
  • Hunting down what has gone wrong, or reaching into hardware a reader owns
  • Bringing an account back, wiping a credential, or opening anything locked
  • Fitting, upkeep, mending, or any operation carried out on equipment
  • Selling, passing on, distributing, or standing as anybody's agent

Nothing is asked of you

Look through every page: not one carries a sign-in, an account, or a screen that takes money. Nowhere here will a password be asked for, nor a card number, nor anything belonging to a bank, nor a passport, nor a code arriving by text — and there is no mechanism on this site capable of receiving any of them.

Where something says otherwise. A page, an email, an advertisement or a telephone call demanding those details while wearing this publication's name is a fraud and has nothing to do with us. Report it to whichever platform carried it, and to whoever handles consumer protection where you live.

Nothing executable is kept here, handed out here, or linked to from here. Applications live in the store that arrived with your device, or on the site of whoever made it. There is no third place.

How far the accuracy goes

These pages generalise. Applications get rewritten, firmware advances, routers are swapped out, and wording that held true in spring can mislead by autumn. Nothing here is warranted as current, exhaustive, or applicable to any particular household.

Should a page here disagree with the paperwork that came with equipment of yours, the paperwork is correct and the page is the thing wanting attention.

Names and marks

Whoever holds the Alexa name holds it still, as with Echo and Echo Dot. They turn up on these pages because there is no other way to indicate which hardware is meant. Nothing about their presence implies a relationship, and words of the official-authorised-accredited-approved-partner variety are attached neither to this publication nor to anything on it.

Responsibility

What appears here appears as it stands. So far as the law permits, Vanshika carries no responsibility for loss or harm of any description following from anything read on these pages, from anything done because of it, or from anything left undone. Whatever a reader decides remains that reader's own decision.
